Welcome to the Little Village Nursery in Ansdell

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child/children to the The Little Village Nursery.

The 42 place Nursery opened in 1995 and offers facilities for children between the ages of  0 months to eight  years, plus after school care. A collection service from  the local primary school Andell Primary  is now available. Please speak to a senior member of staff.

The Nursery is OFSTED inspected and  received a very positive report(Dec 2011) achieving GOOD in all areas under the new Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) which came into force in all nurseries  in September 2008.Our  next inspection is due in Jan 2015. Our  aim is  to provide a warm, friendly environment where the children feel safe and secure and are stimulated to develop skills and increase confidence and self-esteem. This will enable each child to make the transition to formal education more easily.We aim to offer a high quality friendly service.

Fully operational, the Nursery has 10 members of staff, fully qualified or working towards a Foundation Degree or NVQ 2/3 in Child Care Learning and Development, or equvilant.

Key Workers are at hand to discuss the needs of your children and any issues that may have occurred throughout the day.
